Was curious to know if the sims limbsaver pad for the encore listed on the company's web site will fit the wood stocked models. They list a model for the synthetic stock but I am unsure if it is interchangable with the walnut stock.

The Sims Limbsaver recoil pad does fit the Encore walnut buttstock pretty well. Mine is a hair larger than the stock though. I have one on my Encore and it's the best recoil pad I've used.

I got mine when they first came out and it is the best one out there. I'm getting one for my Benelli slug gun next. I have the composite camo stock for the Encore and it fit perfectly,not sure about the walnut ones.

It fits the walnut stock fine, but as noted it is a very little bit too big. I have one on my .450 Marlin Katahdin Encore and it really does make the light little carbine not too bad to shoot.....hot 350 gr loads still are no fun!!

There are 2 different simms pads for the Encore, one for the walnut stock and one for the synthetic stock, I ordered mine from Midway USA. It is for the walnut stock and fits just right. I use mine on my 416 Rigby barrel for my Encore.
