Don't know if anyone here is in the market for one but I ran across one for sale over on Cast Boolits. Don't know if $1K is a good price or not with dies, brass, bullets, etc. If you happen to live in East Tennessee you can get a FTF rate.

Pretty high if you ask me. I sold mine a few years back with a box of ammo and had to fight for 850. Good looking out though!

Well, I'm going squirrel hunting in a few weeks, so I bought it. Thanks for the heads up.

I feel that the 350-grain load ought to be adequate for ground squirrel - what say the rest of you?

Saw this morning that you had PM'd him. Glad I could help a couple of folks.

Now on the issue of squirrels, I am not sure. It may be enough. I can get by here with some hot loads in my .45-70 bolt gun and I think you can launch a little hotter than that with that .416 Rigby so it may work.

Keep us posted on the stew pot.

Pop, try 50 grains of XMP5744 and the RCBS 350 GC cast bullet. Gave me right around 2,000 and just over an inch at 100 when I had one of these rifles.

Shooting sticks? They'd have to be pretty close to the ground, I think.

Thanks for the load data.
