Anyone shoot a T/C Encore in 257 AI? Lee Precision has 257 AI dies. I already have a 257 Bob, but have always wanted a gun chambered in an improved cartridge. Just thought a 257 AI on an Encore would be cool.

I have it in a pistol configuration. I wish that I had done in in a rifle set up. I have been experimenting with it some. What length Barrel are you considering?? It is a cool round. Very accurate.

My best load is with the 100 gr. PSP Corlokt(Remington)on top of 49 gr. of H4831, this regularly goes into 3/4th of an inch for 5 shots if I don't let the barrel heat up too much. Take the normal precautions and work up in your gun.

I have one in a lefthanded Savage 110. 47 grains of IMR 4350 under 115 grain Nosler partitions is my go-to load.

I just received one as a gift a 15" foxridge magnaported. Anyone have data for the 100-120gr bullets?

I have it in a Mexican Mauser but have been contemplating it in my Encore Rifle, have been wondering if it would make that much of a difference in a 24" vs a 26". It will be from OTT or Van Horn. I have barrels from each, 100% satisfied with all my barrels from both guys.

That would make for an awesome setup. I just ordered some 110 Fowlers for use in my 27" 25 cal Encore wildcat. Cant wait to try some 115VLD Bergers either,
