I just ordered a new Stainless Ruger No 1, I see that you have one in your safe, what are they like to shoot? are they managable recoil wise?
I paid $1500 and it sure be here about Feb 04, cant wait!

What chambering have you got choppa; I got No 1's from 22PPC to 500NEx3".

Sorry Mate, Im a bit of a dickhead for leaving that out! Its in 458 Lott, I saw that you had one chambered for the said same. Another question, how did you go getting dies and such?

Isn't this cartridge just an elogated version of the .458 Win? If so, you can load it with .458 Win/ dies, just as you can load .357's with a .38 Spec. dies, or .454 Casull with .45 Colt dies.

My dies are RCBS because 458Win Mag works the brass too much in the body and severely undersizes the necks, leaving a visible bulge when seating the projectile.

My rifle is a rechambered 458 with mag-na-port barrel
