Ruger No.1 .243 rechamber to .243WSSM?

I'm pretty sure it can be done but would it be more cost-effective to have a new barrel chambered and fitted to my action?
Due to the WSSM being a fatter cartridge, any other machining, like for extractor need to be done? [Confused]

Also any estimates as to the cost to rebarrel for this new cartridge?
