Who makes the best rings for Ruger No.1s? I used the Ruger rings that came with my No.1 45-70 and they are just fine.
But are there rings better suited than the Ruger rings,ie;stronger ect.?
Just looking for opinions.

If your are handy with a Dremel tool and few files, you can make two Weaver bases that will lower your scope and greatly enhance the scope position for best eye relief besides several oz of weight loss. For more details send me an e-mail zermel@shaw.ca

Good question wolfsangle. I am also looking at ways to put weaver style mts. on a #1. Any ideas?
