retired jeff, I already have a maker that uses his own variant of the 1885 High Wall. When I get this thing completed I will do a review on it. How do you like your 30-40? Right now it's a toss up of the 30-40 and improved or the 7X57 and improved. Looking for opinions on what cartridge would meet my needs. I know I could go with the 30-06 but like being different...RW
