The Merkel kiplauf is a real treat. The karpatian model is with octagonal barrel and steel receiver, a really nice rifle. Some of the competitors have actions made of old coffe pots and too much plastic for my taste, better not mention names because then I will be really in trouble



Merkel has the strong tilting block action which will give a secure locking. The tigger is great and easily adjustable
