New Browning M78 ?
Does anyone know if Browning is still going to start producing the 78 again? there was a survey about it on calibres desired ,but havent heard anything since,anyone heard any more?

The M78 ? Don't you mean the 1885 ?The 1885 when I got mine nine years ago, was made IIRC ,every other year.Beautiful gun but the market isn't there.

I heard something about it coming back with the winchester name on it. which would seem logical since they brought back the little low wall in 17 with winchesters name on it. Hope they do, I've still got a 78 in the rack in 22/250

They will probably do like the Remington Classic. Introduce a new caliber every year.

I checked the winchester website and they have the 1885 in the short magnum cals, for about a $grand if you would want one in a wsm which i dont
