I've got one in 243. Nothing special about them other than the inscription.

I have three of them. Two No.1's, and a No.3 .30/40. Nothing special except the inscription, as noted above. No gold inlays, no nuthin'. These are not one of Ruger's special anniversary/commemmoratives. Just rifles made in 1976, and inscibed as having been "Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty."

I was incorrect it is a 50th anniversary not a Liberty.

My Liberty Model is a .458 Win Mag and has beautiful wood. It was in Like New condition when I got it. The No 1 is a wonderful and classic rifle and 100% ambidextrous.
