Does anybody have loading data for this cartridge with 300 grs jacketed bullets and smokeless powder?
Grateful for any help.

Bill/OregonBent: Cartridges of the World, 8th edition, shows 39 grains IMR 4198 with a 285-grain lead bullet for 1750 fps. Surely someone will hvae better data, though.

Bent FossdalYea, I know, I have the book, but thanks. A bit surprised, would think this was a popular cartridge over there.

N. S. SherlockHello. The Accurate Arms 2002 reloaders guide shows a charge of 43 grains of 5744 with a 365 grain lead bullet in the 50-90, 2 1/2 inch Sharps, using the Federal 215 primer. Velocity is listed as 1795 FPS(30 inch). This is nearly the same as the 50-110 express load you are working on. I am using that load in an 1874 Pederdoli 50-90 Sharps copy with a 395 grain HP. Regards.

DPhillipsCheck the levergun forum, think there are a few members shooting the 50-110's over there.
