Trijicon Reflex on Ruger #1
Need some help guys. Just got a stainless Ruger #1 in 45/70. Would really like to put a Trijicon Reflex or similar on it. Does anyone have experience with this and if so, how did you mount it. Tried several "rails" at the gun store but could not find any that fit the pre-drilled holes.

Thanks.

Ok, How about any kind of holographic sight on a Ruger #1. Aimpiont, EOTech, etc. Anybody?

This should let you mount a Doctor sight, Burris Fastfire, or Trijicon RMR on a number 1. Good luck.

That is a cool adapter, thanks for posting it.

Hey, hey! I had pretty much given up on this thread. Thanks Wes! I appreciate it.

Maybe try an Ultradot which will fit inside standard scope rings. I have a couple installed on rifles and they have a life time warranty which I never needed yet.

I have a Docter Reflex sight on a Ruger 77 Scout. The base fits right on the integral scope base in the front receiver ring. Neatest thing I've ever seen. I have seen the bases available from one of my wholsalers. Also CDNN has the Docter sights on sale for about $240 right now. The Docter sight and the Burris Fastfire use the same base. Burris makes a mount for Ruger rifles. My Docter uses this setup and I am very happy with it. In fact I ordered a second one to go on my left hand .416 Ruger Model 77.
