I am trying to find out if the twist rate and throat length of the .275 is the same as the 7x57 barrels which I think are 1:8-3/4

It took awhile on the phone but Ruger confirmed it is 1:8.75 rate of twist same as all 7x57's

I own one of these same rifles and that is good info to know.

Yesterday, I received a reply from Ruger on a similar query.

The Ruger African in 223 is a 1:9 twist. Perhaps someone else may need that info as well.
