Is the Blaser K95 available with a .223 barrel?
Not according to the web site. They list .222 and a couple of rimmed 5.6 cals but not .223. Anybody know for sure?
Cheers.

butchloci had one with a 22 bbl - superb shooter. if they don't make a 223 just get the222 & run a 223 reamer in it
Or buy the 5.6x50 mm Rimmed barrel, a even better choice.

Cliff LyleBlaser barrels are really hard steel. I know some have had barrels re-bored to different calibers but it wasn't easy.
I have a .222 for my K95 but its not fit to the receiver yet. Many guys who shoot the K95 really like the rimmed cartridges. The 5.6x50 or 5.6x52 (?) might be a real good option.

ron williamsThe 5.6X50R in a K95 would be extremely cool!

1894mk2As the proud owner of a 5.6x50R K95 I can tell you it is a match made in heaven. The rimmed cartridge handle really well and the performance is about half way between a 223 and a 22-250.
50gr at 3,500fps, 55gr at 3,400fps, 60gr at 3,300fps. These loads are at the rimless pressure levels courtesy of the K95s tilting block and RWS brass. It is also possible to run it at 22hornet levels if you so wish.
Really good cartridge.

Moorepowerblaserpro.com lists .223 in the 1/9, 1/10, and 1/12 twist.

Cliff LyleI believe if checked those are for the R93 standard, match, fluted and possibly the tactical rifle. I don't believe the .223 is offered for the K95.

MoorepowerThey have been listed on Gunbroker for sale with .223 barrels by Maddog guns, that and the twist chart is what I went by. All I know for 100% is that if I live long enough I will own a K 95!

Cliff LyleIt could have been an editing error by Mad Dog as he advertises lots of Blasers. I've had a .223 barrel for the R93 but according to Blaser USA, it's not offered.
Here's the link.
