miklorEncore Question
When you change barrels on your encore do you have to sight it in again or will it be zeroed?

Duckhunter39208I've had mixed success with barrel changes for the
encore and contender rifles. While the barrel and scope are attached and this attachment is not altered by the barrel change, I do have a barrel or two that needs to be resighted each time I remove and reinstall it on a frame. These sighting differences are significant so I suggest that you shoot a couple of rounds just to be sure. I love my T/C guns but I gave up on the switch barrel concept and have dedicated frame/barrel "sets". They do work, but I feel that I have to rezero each time I change barrels.
Just my $0.02.

williebMy experience was 3 or 4 shots to to get the barrels to settle back into the frame. Usually that's worked and did not have to change the scope settings.

OLBIKERI use an expandable hinge pin from EA Brown. This eliminates any slop in your action and when I swap barrels they are dead nuts.
