That is just about the perfect hunting rifle. With the right sights and load, you can hunt anything anywhere on the planet with it.

Taking off the tang sight and using the buckhorn and will be putting a copper penny front sight on it. Got some good advice from an experienced feller!

Keep the tang sight handy. You will be wanting to plug some steel with BP loads and that's a great setup for that (even if your barrel is a bit short for the nationals!).
