AndersRemington Rolling Block, ammunition for 32. Long or Short Rimfire
My neighbour owns a Remington Rolling Block No 6 chambered for .32 Long or Short Rimfire.
Is there any chance one can get hold of some ammunition for this one?
I know it's possible to rechamber it for a centerfire version, but he doesn't want to.

This is all I have found so far:

J.D.SteeleStay away from the Brazilian stuff, my friend the Green Frog says it's dog doo-doo. Besides, it's available for a lot less, check in at the assra.com site for more info.
His Remington can have a spare CF breechblock fitted with little trouble. No rechambering or other alteration required, only a (temporary) substitution of the blocks.

hawkinsNavy arms made some a while back, it was quite underpowered.
If you do convert to center fire it will take
the 32 colt ammo, not the S&W.
Good luck!

Black FlyQuite a few years ago, Dixie made an alternate kind of cartidge like a Hammond Game Getter that worked in a 32 rimfire. I don't know where you might find one. They sold in groups of three as I recall. Have not worked on a rolling block, but I changed a Hopkins and Allen falling block to 32 Colt, by making a piece that slightly lowered the block, so the firing pin was in the center. Just took some patience and a file.
Good luck
