Does anyone have or does anyone know were I can get a Ruger No 1 action. I want just the action, finish is not important as I well be Ceracoting it. Even a trashed complete rifle will work for this project.

Perhaps someone here can help you, but found mine by haunting gun shows for about a year. Just the action is a scarce item and ended up buying some well used ones for builds. Good luck.

watch gunbroker bid low and often and you should be able to pick up a complete rifle for the cost of an action only. The No 1 stock sets are easy to sell to get some of your $ back.

odds of finding a #1 action are like winning the lottery. go find a cheap rifle and sell off what you don't want

Brownells carried them at one time, do not know if they still so.

Sadly, Brownells stoppped carryiing them a few years back

I have been watching the gun shows for years without any luck! Also have been doing the Gunbroker idea, I occasionally see a complete rifle for sale in the $450 range. Might be the way I have to go. thanks to all.
