eskimo36My new encore stocks from Luxus(Stocker Gun Stocks)
I just picked up my new wood for my encore and it is great. This wood from Stocker Gun Stocks is a very functional work of art. It looks like the metal is just melted into the wood. The inletting is that good. I have a 25-35 barrel on the gun and the extra barrel is a 9.3x74r SSK barrel. This is exhibition grade walnut with a very hard satiny smooth finish that I feel will stand up to hunting and range use. The finish will be an easy touch up if scratched. I am very pleased with this wood. I can't ask for more from Clay and his company.

Bobby TomekI like the character and flow of the grain pattern.

The cheekpiece looks to be as low as that of the factory TC stocks. How is the eye alignment with the scope (from field position-type shooting)?

eskimo36It is just like the factory stock but I don't shoot anything that has heavy recoil with a scope in the encore. The comb probably could be higher if it was a scope only gun. I have a 222 and this 25-35 with scopes and the 9.3x74r with open sights. It is a good compromise for multiple barrels, scoped and not. The forearm is similar to factory, being very hand filling and good for off hand shooting or off of a rest.
BTW, the pics don't do them justice.

LUXThe comb heigth is high and great for scoped rifles. Points well like a hunting rifle should. No cheek piece on these. New stocks posted on our web site and some completed rifles.
