MuskegManT/C Contender Carbine Forend Adaptor?
This seems like such a stupid question to ask, but. . .
I have a Contender and I bought a carbine barrel for it. All I have now are 10" and 14" barrel forends. What adapter do I need for the carbine forend to work? I've haven't seen these in catalogs. Help me out please. Thx.

LogicBeanMuskegMan,
Did you buy an older 21" carbine barrel or the newer 23" G2 carbine barrel?
These barrels use different forends that are also different than your current pistol barrel forends. Not for sure, but the 14" pistol barrel forend may fit the 21" tappered carbine barrel.
Look to T/Cs web site to determine which forend you need.
Hope this helps.

courtney platerIIRC there are 3 different forends for the "old" contender not including the snap on originals. 10 inch, 12 and 14 were the same, and 16 - 21 inch carbine barrels. I have at least one of each. The G2 is different but not having one yet I cannot say what it's forend spacing is.
