Bad Ass WallaceZulu ! ! !
Some rifles are just fun to shoot. Cannot help but wonder however, what it would have been like to go into battle with one of these!
Load is 75gn FFG with 500gn cast projectile. (Note a spare round held between the fingers)

jclaytonIn Canada we call these old rifles Martini Henry"s. they shoot the .577/450 cartridge and the cases are really expensive. They make up into a nice 45/70 when rebarelled
for this readily available round. The trigger is simple to work on too. These are getting scarce but they show up now and then for around $300, or about 200 US$. I have four of these, one 577/450, one .303 British, and two converted to 45/70 with tang sights and pistol grip stocks.
