I want to shoot light rounds for practice in my Encore, and was wondering what is the lightest .22 calaber Barrel I can shoot. Do I need to alter the gun in anyway.
Any information on shooting the .22 calibers is much appreciated.

There are .22 rimfire barrels available for the Encore. I would presume that if you wanted to go very "light" you could probably have a 22 Short barrel made. The 22 LR barrels are what are usually available.

No modification to the Encore is needed; remove the forend, knock out the pin, align the rimfire barrel, reinsert pin, reattach the forend and you're ready to go.
