Has anyone installed a hick's accurizer on their no. 1? I've heard "real good" to "don't bother" from the two I've asked about it.

I put one on a 1b .280 several years ago and it helped it, but it was basicly an accurate rifle except after several shots it would start stringing straight up.The rib was relieved at the receiver so that wasnt the problem.I have heard of other cures similar to the Hicks such as drilling the hanger bracket and threading a bolt thru it and tightening it to put pressure on the barrel w/is what the Hicks does.W/regards
