45-70 molds,
Any experience out there with the Lee 340 grain mold???? Thinking real strong on this one for my NEF 45-70. Will post at cast bullets too.

Have no experience with that particular Lee mould, but have had good results with several other Lee moulds, including a .45 pistol bullet, the 250-grain R.E.A.L. ML bullet, and a couple of Minie balls.

I do use the Lyman 457122HP Gould bullet in my .45/70. It is almost identical to the 340 Lee, except it has a hollow point. Mine casts out at 342 grains from wheel weights. Good bullet!!
