Dutch44Now America has it's own Ray St. Ledger. Thanks, Aaron, and sharps4590 is correct, they do mimic original Ballard colors.

Bill/OregonI can think of no other action as gorgeous -- and the case is stunning.

Dutch44It was an original long range action. Up until about mid-7000 serial numbers Ballard Long Range rifles were usually not engraved. I've owned two of them. I had Mark Hoescht engrave it and made it a Mid-Range with a Badger 38-55 incorporating Rigby flats on the barrel. My BPCR rifle. Aaron out did himself on this one. Shon Eychanor made the stock and did all of the metal work on this one. Used a 4x piece of Turkish cause that's all I had to work with.

Dutch44You will, Bill. Shon is in Washington working on some Scientology underground secret site on the north California coast as a sheet metal worker. They select union guys from around the country to go there instead of using California workers. He'll be back in Sept. and will put it together when he gets here. One of my nicest Ballards next to my Ron Long/Neil Rice Schoyen Ballard No. 6 in .22 lr.
Shon is a master machinist and gun builder.
