buckeyeshooterrechambering question
I have been looking at the Winchester 1885 in 50-90 from Davidsons. What would be required to rechamber to 50-140? I'm thinking just a reaming of the chamber. Any suggestion on who would be able to handle this?
Thanks in advance.

Woodrow SThem are BIG shells...and your going to wish for a heavier rifle if loaded to its potential. Brass might be a bitch to get as well. I seen a gent with a custom built Ruger #1 in this caliber with a LONG and HEAVY octagon barrel at a cowboy shoot. It did ring the steel plates with authority and had the big buffalo plate a-rockin.

BohicaGo Ahead Buckeye!
I built one on a #1 and it was a hoot to shoot. Scary to say the least but it certainly is a crowd pleaser. LOL
