Scaled down Ruger #1
Some time ago there was some talk about a scaled down #1. This would be something nice for lighter calibers. I find the #1 too heavy for smaller calibers. Like 308 size with 22" barrels. Under 7lbs
with a light scope. For quick and fast shooting on running game. My 257 Roberts in H#R custom is a delight to hunt WT with. Just like a dynamic little 28 gauge SxS.

I don't see that ever happening. #1s are on the brink of discontuance as it is. While quite expensive, the small action Hagn is the perfect alternative.

FISH!!

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."
