Herb117Good & bad.
My 25-06 and the .375 Ultra Mag are both accurate.
My 7mm RUM is a scatter-gun in need of a new barrel.
. . . maybe in .338 Ultramag.
Paul B and Bad Ass . . . I feel deprived as I only have 3

Count me in for three as well.
A first year production pre-prefix that I had rebarreled to 270 Wby as the original 22-250 barrel was a POS.
Second, a 26" varmint weight swift.
Third, a 24" bicentennial varmint weight 300 Winchester. I understand this one was made in very limited numbers. Any ideas on how limited the production was? Thanks.
Good job! I had terrible accuracy with my #1 in 25/06. solved that problem via a local smith who glass bedded ans floated my barrell. Sinced then accuracy will rival any gun I own. Forend warpage was the culprit.
I have one in .300 Weatherby and one in 45-70, and both had to be re-barreled to get decent accuracy. Bad luck, I guess.

DigitalDanNever bought one that would shoot, only had one I couldn't fix but a buddy did. Still have 2, a .22 K-Hornet and Bob. Both had the forend mod. and triggers replaced, both shoot well under MOA w/factory barrels. Bob will NOT shoot anything heavier than 90 grs. worth crap. I won't buy any more of them, but will tinker with some other falling block actions soon enough.

tuck 2The 243 Win. Ruger No.1 B best groups 9/10 In. with 85 Gr.Speer BT bullets,43.5 Gr.IMR 4530,CCI 2000 pimers,0.025 In. FB,Win. brass. The 25-06 Ruger No.1 B will shoot 1.2 In Groups but with sum reloads I get 3.5 In. vertical string of shots. I`m going to try free floatin the barrel. Some time I think they should be traded off for some bolt action rifles, but I like the looks of the darn things.
