Don't know if it's a limited run or standard item but Davidson's is listing a new 16" barreled 1885 Trapper model in .45/70, .38/55 & .30/40 Krag. Really neat looking little bugger based on the photo.

16" ??? My 1885 I cut from 28" to 22" and made it much handier and lighter for hunting without significant reduction in velocity.OAL is about 37". I don't see much sense in going to 16".

Yah, and make sure the passenger side window is all the way down. I know a guy that fired a 30-30 out the right side window at a deer off the road, that the muzzle blast took out the half lowered window very nicely. Muzzle was inside the truck----not only dumb, but probably deaf, now, too!
