Bluebook values are pretty low.Were they any good??Did they have an adjustable trigger?Thanks,OB

iirc, Cumberland Arms or Cumberland Gap Arms bought out the inventory and are building rifles. Haven't heard anything about them.

They were one of the more successful brands of cast action falling block rifles that were popular back then. The Ruger No. 1, No. 3, and Browning 78 became dominant in that market and a lot of small brands went into oblivion. The Wickliffe rifles were good enough but nothing special.

The former owner posted on here several years ago. I bought an action, and built a 45-90 on it.
They were heck for stout, but rather bulky and on the heavy side.

I bought one once in 222 Magnum. Sold it after a short while. I could never get the trigger adjusted to anything resembling a decent pull. Looking at the parts made me believe some of the trigger weight was not resolvable due to design. The barrel on mine was a Douglas if I remember.
