Re-profile #1 action for a lefty?
Has anyone done this or thought of doing it? The #1 action is profiled to enable quick loading from a right handed person. The walls of the action on either side of the breach block are not symetrical. The left side is quite a bit higher. Would the strength of the action be significantly impaired by grinding down the left sid to match the right side?

And not only that, but the higher side wall provides a positive stop for the breach block and serves to enclose and retain the hammer transfer bar pin.

I'm a lefty too, and considered it briefly for low intensity cartridges, but then realized I'm usually shooting of some sort of a forearm rest with those types of cartridges anyway, and am used to feeding from the right side.
