41 special Martini Cadet
Would a 41 special be too much for the little Martini ?

I've seen them done in 32 Win Spl, 357 Mag, 22 Hornet, and 218 Bee. 41 Special should be fine. IIRC the actions were proof tested up to 60,00 PSI

The thing you need to watch is the case diameter, the barrel is pretty thin when you get to the larger cases. I am sure there will be some that can give you better information but I would be hesitant to go larger diameter than 38/357. I have one in 357 but I would not use the hotter loads in it.

Roger, if you do it, please post some pics.

Never mistake motion for action.

I have seen some done with necked down 44 mag cases......might need to do some more investigating.

i see no problem - even though the case is a large diameter i have cadets chambered in 219 donaldson and 219 zipper improved both rounds use 30/30 brass and that's much bigger than 41

uh, no its not.
30-30 base is .422"....41 is .434"
I too have 30-30 based martini's.....Herrett's, 32-40, 25-35.

I’ve had a bunch, including two 32 specials and now a 25-35. I think 41 would make the barrel walls too thin. .357 works though.
