Bill/OregonSo did the No. 1 in 9.3 turnout be another Ruger rumor?
I swear I saw these in 9.3 X 74R on the Ruger Web site once under new products. Is this just another Ruger test balloon that never materialized?

Parker12SSS aka BigJohnI don't know but it sure would be sweet. I'd like to see a .375 RUM, as well. Ruger seems to have a lot of neat Ideas that take too muh to get off the ground. they end causing a stir with collectable interest and then it blows away like a fart in the wind. If they made another 1000 #1's in .300 H&H, they'd be gone in a month and I'd have one. I just can't hold my breath.

tomo577why not just buy a #1 and rebarrel it ?
they are cheap enough used.
then you can be the first to have one in 9,3.
or the first to have a new 300 H & H

Good point, and you could choose a longer barrel - say 26-28 inches - for better balance and classic lines.

HunterJimWhen Ruger announces something at a SHOT Show, I expect to see that year pass and the next year too before the item appears in the market. I don't think the clock is far enough along on the 9.3, but I am sure it will be here Real Soon Now.

In the meantime I handled a Beretta O/U in that persuasion, it was a very nice rifle and is eminently available.
