Send the gun to me, I'll take the picture for you and then send you my camera. Don't worry about dies, or brass for the 22 PPC, I have all that stuff ;-)

Idaho SharpshooterMust be something in the wind, I picked up a Borchardt last night. Mine is a sporter weight hunting rifle, chambered in 25-35 Improved. This one was done by noted custom gunsmith of the pre-WWII era A W Sukalle of Phoenix.
I wish Shiloh Rifle would get off the dime and build the one they have been piddling with.

Alberta CanuckRich! You've got my gun!! My dad ordered it for me the day I was born about 4 blocks from Bill Sukalle's shop. I've been waiting for it ever since. Knowing the convolutions of Arizona's Californicated (by proximity & resulting in-migration-generated) laws, I was still waiting for his estate to settle, thinking then they would send it to me.
Ill PM you my address, so you can ship it on to its rightful owner

19RomeoRich,
Not trying to highjack this thread, but
I picked up a custom Mauser 98 in 257 Roberts
awhile back and the barrel is stamped
WM SUKALLE, PHOENIX, AZ. One of the smoothest
Mauser actions I have ever handled.

Idaho Sharpshooter19R,
any discussion of fine custom rifles is good to go as far as I can see. I'd love to see a picture of the rifle sometime.
Alberta Canuck,
there was a note in the butt stock from Sukalle. Your dad had to sell the rifle to cover some complications with the birthing. Seems you tried to come out butt first so you could start your lifelong passion for mooning the establishment!
regards,
Rich

terry buffumI have a high wall .25 Krag by Sukalle. I visited his shop in Phoenix circa 1964; by that time he was out of the barrel making business and doing machine shop work. He sold me a number of really nice custom rifles and handguns he had built over the years.
