ChisanaNew Winchester 1885s debuted at SHOT 2010
Anyone have a chance to handle one of the new 1885s that Winchester debuted at the SHOT show? The BPCR and 125th Anniversary are intriguing.

RESI have the winchester 1885 high wall in a 300 wsm and I love the rifle. I have shot several deer over 400 yards and one at 500 yards. At one hundres yards on a target, it will cut holes. I like the rifle so well that I plan on buying another one in the 22-250 this spring. Try one, you will not be disappointed

bmashAre these drilled and tapped for a scope base or is this only the Browning models?

RESYes, they are drilled and tapped, or should I say, the one that I have seen and owned have been drilled and tapped from the factory. They are a very accurate rifle. My 1885 300 wsm with a Leupold 6.5x20x50mm LR scope and Harris bipod is a real shooter.
