Just interested in what steps you gentlemen take in performing this operation?

vapodogone method is to drill and tap the existing firing pin hole for #6-48. Soft solder in a screw and face it flat to the bolt face and then drill and ream the correct size hole.

StefanI have done this by drilling a hole and glued in a pice of bar and then drilled a new hole that fit the fireing pin snugly and face off the boltface.
By not drill the hole in the bolt all the way thru to make a stop for the pice of bar I make sure that the pice stay in the bolt. I can´t se any real chanse of the pice to come loose.

PedestalI've done a couple of Martini Cadets using an allen head set screw. Drill the hole first, from the back end (the screw end is cupped, making it easier to center) and "funnel" it a bit with small needle files. Drill/tap the breech block, insert the screw with red Locktite. (I prefer this to soft solder) Once the Locktite is cured, face it off. A relatively simple, if tedious, procedure.
