Got a catalog for the first time in many years from Garrett Wade. Used to shop in the store on 6t ave and Spring st. in NYC. Was like a parts counter really.

This looked interesting. I can't tell if it's just the same old chinese vise with a new base.

If that's the American made version it's a great vise, but if it's the Chinese copy it's a sloppy POS. The American version is named Versa Vise but since this one is Versatile Vise I wouldn't buy it.

That's a different setup than the Versa vice, too many "thumbscrews. The VersaVise locks on the mount when the jaws are tightened and only utilizes one axis at a time.
