Hello: I have a Savage Model 12fv in .223. This rifle has a 26" bull barrel, bolt action, and a synthetic stock. It's a great shooter and I am generaly happy with it. However, it is my only gun with a synthetic stock and I just don't like them. I have looked around a bit for a laminate replacement stock but have not found any. Do any of you riflemen know of a source for this type of stock? Thanks, Jim

if you want the stock savage laminate you can get them from midway. here is a link to some nice looking stocks too if youd wana go the fiberglass route.look under stocks then click on stockade they are all savage stocks
