<Caveman>Synthetic stocks for pre-64 model 70's
I originally posted this in the Big Game section, I guess I should have posted here.
I have a pre-64 model 70 featherweight in 270. I would like to put a sythetic stock on it. Does anyone know who makes them?
Thanks
Corey
McMillan make sthe stocks. I don't think they are "drop-in" but you could call them and ask.

<lb404>There are numerous companies that make stocks for pre-64 model 70 rifles, What is your price range? They might run 300-500 finished. They are usually a drop in fit for standard barrel contours, but need final bedding and fitting. Are you going to do that part yourself?

NavarroCorey: Go with the McMillen , You will not regret your choice , I have a pre-64 257 Rob. on a McMillen and a Sako on a Bell and Carlson , I am now trying to find a Mcmillen to fit the Sako. There is no Comparasion between the two.

Jim KobeI just put a Borden Rimrock stock on my model 70. It is probably the best looking, best made composite stock on the market today. I love McMillan stocks, but these are better. try them at:
