The Beretta Gallery in Highland Park village has an in-house gunsmith.

Thanks for the tip. The work I need done is the safety changed to manual instead of automatic, for skeet. I have heard that they will not do this but I will check with them anyway.

Beretta did this very modification on a 687 for me.

I'm with you...automatic safeties are a pain in the rear.

Is Beretta's gunsmith and I highly recommend him. He does excellent work, and has worked on my Perazzi and I am greatly pleassed. Todd is in the DFW area!

It is fairly simple. Make sure the gun is empty. Pull the butt stock. There is a small rod that runs between the top lever assy and the safety button. When you turn the lever to open the action, the rod pushes the safety into the "on" position. Simply disconnect the rod and you're good to go.
