I need to have a little work don on my Beretta Ou Shotgun. I live east of dallas. Can anyone recomend a good Smith in the area?

riverman1Thanks for the tip. The work I need done is the safety changed to manual instead of automatic, for skeet. I have heard that they will not do this but I will check with them anyway.

ForrestBBeretta did this very modification on a 687 for me.
I'm with you...automatic safeties are a pain in the rear.

WestpacIt is fairly simple. Make sure the gun is empty. Pull the butt stock. There is a small rod that runs between the top lever assy and the safety button. When you turn the lever to open the action, the rod pushes the safety into the "on" position. Simply disconnect the rod and you're good to go.
