I'm looking for a steel buttplate that is not as convex at the top and doesn't need to have the spur on the top like a typical Niedner pattern. Looks more like the top image than the bottom image. This style appears to have been used more in the past and more on shotguns than rifles.

Kind-of looks like from Remington 513T. Someone with a big CO2 laser could cut them out like hotcakes.

I think you can get those at numrich. I just used one on a rifle and I usually buy my buttplates at numrich.
