Hi.

I am having a new barrel on my 416 Wby rifle and a new stock as well. I will go for a syntetic stock fra AHR.
If using a stong fiberglass stock like McMillan or MPI, my gunsmith tells me that it is not necessary to mount a front recoillug on the barrel (but he always will on a wood stock) - it is strong enough...
What do you think??
