Browning threads, metric or sae?
I just talked to my gunsmith friend and asked if he could rebarrel a browning BLR. He said he can do it provided it is SAE threads, his machine won't do metric.

Does anybody know?

All the Browning lever actions I have done were metric. 1886s and 1895s. Assume yours is too, having been made in Japan.
