Marlin 22 rimfire trigger job

I have a Marlin semi-auto 22 caliber rimfire. The trigger is pretty heavy in my opinion. Is there any way to improve or lighten the trigger pull on these guns? Thanks.

If you've got a Model 60, no there is not. You'll have to learn to live with the heavy pull. Its not that bad once you get used to it...

Yep: I took it out squirrel hunting yesterday PM and shot one in the head at a fairly long distance so I guess I can live with the trigger but I sure wish it could be lightened up a bit.
