Straddle floorplates
Does anyone sell these anymore? It seems like someone used to offer them, but, I haven't been able to locate any.

If anyone has a clue, could you please pass on the info.

Thanks, Rojelio Confused

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

As far as I know I am the last one to still machine a replacement straddle floorplate for the 1909 Argentine guard. I have this item on the CNC mill now so can keep them in inventory better.

Part #1909FP, as machined from 12L14 steel, cost is $50.00 plus shipping.

How about a replacement release for inside the guard that has a nice button on it?

Speaking of 1909 Argy bottom metal, I really need two of these, if anyone has them and wants to sell. I would trade a Brno 21H short bbl. in very nice original condition with a spotless, crisp bore for two Argys in excellent, non-pitted condition.

I also have a Brno ZG-47 short bbl. in .30-06, hardly used, but, re-blued to factory standards 'cause I scratched it by accident and I would swap it for two Argy's as above. These are almost impossible to find, even here in Canada where Brnos are more common than in the USA, and I am not certain about getting them into the USA, but, it may be worth it to someone who is a Brno fan. I only want very nice Argys as they are to go on 21H actions I have.

Look on ebay, they go for about $100.
