RiodotMannlicher style stocks - shaped and inletted?
Where can you purchase a stock for a project in a Mannlicher style?
I found them at Great Americam Gunstock's website.
Are they available anywhere else??
Thanks,

max(hm2)the last two i did were from my pattern and turned from a blank. real easy to add the forend to a standard stock and make it as long as you need it.

GrandViewI have used GAG in the past, but like max, I now make my own pattern mannlicher stocks.
Royal Arms Gunstocks also produces a mannlicher semi, although I've not seen one.

RiodotMax(hm2),
That is what I was thinking of doing. I have a couple of murtle blanks sitting here. Is the metal barrel band at the tip a requirement - and, is a shadow line cheekpiece standard on them? Just want to get an idea.
Thanks,
Riodat

7x57mmRidot: Serengeti Stockworks does mannlicher stocks and will even turn your blank. The company does laminate stocks, but they do not look laminate at all. Go to the website, click on the products and services section, scroll down to the part that says "mannlicher" and click on it. You'll see the kind of work the company does. Good luck ... Tom Purdom

brianboSerengeti makes a good stock. Their laminates are essentially the Acra-bond stock company they acquired after Mel Smart passed on a few years ago. Though I think they invested in new CnC machinery and have some different patterns than what Mel offered.

Brian
