They do both the conventional gold color TiN coating, like you see on milling cutters, and a nice dark charcoal gray color that is TiN with Aluminum (TinAl). Sorry about the rifle I had done, but I did not get a photo before the customer picked it up last Saturday. We had this one done in the TiNAl, the charcoal gray. Looks very nice, is a non reflective matte finish (Molecular does the bead blast treatment prior to plating). Very good work, and I am thinking it rivals or surpasses Robar Rogard as a practical finish for the serious rifle. I had the scope rings & bases and all screws plated also. A note, Molecular wants the rifle fully disassembled, including having the barrel out of the receiver, complete with an inventory list of all parts. The full disassembly is required so they can mask things like barrel threads and the bore. It is a hard coating, I had to replace the cutters in my engraving machine when I put the caliber designations on the barrel. Highly recommended. And less than 2 week turn around. And they will plate about anything. Think I will send the next knife I make to them for a gold TiN finish.

Thanks
Can they coat a bore? I think it might have been on the old format accuratereloading that the issue of a TiN coated bore was discussed as a meathod of increasing barrel life. Just not sure how thick or even the coating is, and I'm sure one couldn't easily lap it out
