300 weatherby to 300 ultrta

Can a 300 weatherby be recut to a 300 ultra? And who can I send it to ??? MD

No offense Maddog, but why would you want to do this. The weatherby gives up practically nothing to the Rem Ultra! Not that there is anything wrong with it but if it's not broke don't fix it, and the Weatherby sure as hell ain't broke!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a Ruger #1 in .300 Weatherby a while back intending to rechamber to Ultra.
It didn't take me long to figure out that the Weatherby does most everything the Ultra does with a lot less powder, noise, recoil and expense.
