RIP another good gunsmith
I learned that Lou Williamson passed away on Sept4, 2017. We both worked for Knights Gun Shop in Ft Worth in the late 1960's. Lou was a help to me and I went on to TSJC in 1961. I made my first muzzleloader with his advise in 1968.

He will be missed, may he be remembered by all

I don;t remember the name, but that was a long time ago in FtWorth.

Lou trained under P O Ackley and help write some of the articles in one on P O's books.

I am the last person alive that worked for the old A L Knight Gun Shop. Joe Knight was a stockmaker and I learned several tricks from him.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Lou.

I'm fortunate to have a great example of his work, that I'll re-post.
