What is the proper way to bed a sporter SMLE?
Do you add a forend hanger on the barrel, bed the first couple inches of barrel? New area for me playing this style rifle.

Shoot it FIRST see how it performs. Most sporterised SMLE rifles I have seen appear to have no bedding and shoot well enough.
